Patrons manifest quite an interest in the school work and
have an admirable degree of pride n their school house and surroundings.
The school house is one of the best country school
houses in the county, containing two very comfortable rooms,
two cloak rooms, hall, charts, etc.
A few of the pupils were hindered in their work by lack of
sufficient books, but the greatest hinderance, however, is irregularity of attendance

REPORT OF TEACHER
The patrons generally manifested guite a good deal of interest
in the school work this year. The pupils secured books to what
extent they were able. Unfortunately there are not depositories
in the district so it was difficult for them to secure the
necessary books. We were troubled very little with tardiness as
the pupils were wide awake, active and energetic boys and girls.
The attendance was good. Average for full term of six months ninety four percent.

REPORT OF TEACHER

I feel that I have done the best I could to grade my school
properly, still some have not been provided with the books necessary,
for their proper promotion. The patrons do not manifest
as much interest in the school work as I should like to see, yet I
have had no trouble in governing the school, and little cause for
complaint of tardiness and absence. However I find it diffcult
to maintain a growing interest, the number of students are so few
that it will not "hold heat."
For fear of making a wrong impression in regard to the attendance, I take the liberty to say that about
85 percent of the numeration have attended and 93 per cent is the daily attendance.
I submit $1.00 with report hoping that it will accomplish
that for which it is sent.
Yours Respectfully,
TRUMAN PAYNE

REPORT OF TEACHER
The patrons, as a general thing, seem very much interested
in the school work, and have procured the necessary books when
It was possible to do so. the book Stores did not keep all of the
text-books in stock, hence it was inpossible to get them. The attendance
has been good, averaging almost seventeen usually.
The pupils are mostly small and cannot attend in bad weather.
I have had ver few tardy marks all this term, one family only giving me trouble along the line.

I am regretful to say that there has been much difficulty in

have experienced some little trouble on account of absence.
Much interest shown by the patrons of the school.
