REPORT OF TEACHER
The interest manifested in the school, by both patrons and
pupils, is highly satisfactory. The progress of the school has
been very good, although we had a few unavoidable impediments
to overcom, such as depththeria, etc., which caused a temporary
suspension, only for a short time, however. The fact that we
were thoroughly acquainted with the pupils, having taught the
school the two previous terms, made the task, for creating interest
and getting them properly started again, rather easy.
The patrons of the school, with but few exceptions, are alive
to the work and are doing all in their power to assist us and
make the school a success.
The attendance of the school is very commendable, as the
average per cent of attendance rarely, if ever, falls below 96 per
cent in Room No. 1. Good Attendance, in my opinion, is one of
the foremost requisites for a good school.
A few of the pupils are slow in getting to school of mornings,
but not to such an extent as to retard the progress.

REPORT OF TEACHER
There has been but little interest taken in my school district.

attendance. I have an enrollment of thirty-four. I do not think

REPORT OF THE TEACHER
To whom it may concern:
I have taugh the avove school one term. A large per cent
of the pupils are much interested in education, studying and
trying to improve the advantages afforded; but the parents do
not furnish suitable books to carry out the grade system.
Irregular attendance was the worst hinderance I had to contend with.

REPORT OF TEACHER
As one interested in the school and in the welfare of the
community I think it proper to say that greater good could be
accomplished by the teachers and more efficient work done by
the pupils if this school was managed under the graded system
of the State and under direct control of the Board of Education.
The Superintendent has advised this as it can be done without additional cost
to the taxpayers and thereby give more thoroughness and system to our work.
Under the existing conditions there is no head to the school
and the pupils pass from one room to another as their fancy dietates. No
school can do successfull work that is allowed to run
in this manner.
The growth of the school demands a new building which
should be of brick with no less than four rooms.
Respectfully,
L. C. Oyster

REPORT OF TEACHER
The interest taken in school, seems to be somewhat limited
both by parents and pupils, and this oss of interest is attributed
to the irregular attendance of the pupils. Although the absence in
many instances during this term has been caused by sickness
there seems to be a few disinterested parents and of course
where such exits there will be a lack of interest among the
pupils. Tardiness occurred frequently and a sufficient number
of books where not secured.
Taking all of the disadvantages into consideration the progress
of pupils, in the branches taken up by them has been very good.

There were a few cases of tardiness, which retarded the work to some extent.
As for the interest of the patrons, they do not display their
enthusiasm by visting the school.

REPORT OF TEACHER
In regard to the interest manifested by the parents. I will say
that they hve readily supplied their children with books, etc.,
and made it a point to send their children very regularly
Further the interest manifested was not what it should have
been. Visits from parents and school officials not being so frequent as to denote a really live interest in school work,
but compairing favorable, however, with the average school in this respect.
The attendance has been extremely regular, and most cases
of tardiness can be charge to two or three large pupils who were
unavoidably detained at home.

REPORT OF TEACHER
I beg leave to report that the patrons manifested a live interest
and cooperated with me in my school work.
The pupils had trouble and were delayed in securing the
necessary books in the beginning of school. On account of
the change of school books. our merchants were slow to procure
the books which were needed.
Some of my pupils were kept from school on account of sickness,
which injured the interest to some extent. Otherwise I was
troubled to no great extent.
