Waldomore WVHCGS Meeting April 17, 2010 Notes by Ruby      The Harrison County Genealogical Society held their April meeting this date with 11 members in attendance. Our member Marvin Stemple was with us once again.      David didn't have anything to report on the book committee, only that he wants to buy some new books from Hacker's Creek Pioneer Descendants.      There are no trips planned at this time.      Diana Johnson reported on the Scottish Festival which will be held in Bridgeport on the 1st of May. The members working it will have to be there at 7:30 A.M. They are Diana Johnson, Bertha Webb, Betty Waugh and Dick Wilt. In order to get in they will need name tags. Diana is going to take pedigree charts, pens, and a copy of each of our publications to the festival.      We had twenty five applications for the scholarships and the committee to read them will be meeting on the 8th of May at noon. That will also be the date of our next meeting. The committee to read the stories will be Betty Waugh, June Conrad and Ted Wolfe.      After the meeting was adjourned several of us stayed over to help with the newsletter. It should be mailed the first of next week. When I left David was having a paper jam with the labels. Remember the next meeting will be May 8, 2010.
