The Harrison County Genealogical Society held their annual picnic this evening
at the Clarksburg City Park (Norwood Park.) This was the least amount we have
ever had at one of our picnics but we had a good time with plenty of food.
There were only nine of us and it was good to have John Hines be able to come
and eat with us. Always before he was on afternoon shift.
I'm sure Darrell and Betty must have had a twinge of disappointment since they
went to so much work to get everything prepared. Betty had hot dogs, barbecues,
meat loaf and two kinds of chicken.
Thanks Darrell & Betty for what you did to make the picnic a success and on one
of the hottest days we have had so far this summer.
